Everybody is a specialist. Everyone is good at something that can help others. You just have to get out there.

"I've never had a job. When I dropped out of high school, my parents told me, 'If you really want to quit school, you have to have a job.' I said, 'What if I create my own job?' I worked for months, set up my own website, did my own marketing, and all of a sudden I got my first sale. That was the best feeling in the world. Especially back then — it was really hard work doing that 20 years ago. A couple of years later, I launched my next idea. I took out a loan for $15,000 and burned all that without any revenue. My parents told me again to find a job. It was really stressful. During that time, I happened to drop my phone and the screen broke, so I went to the local phone repair and started talking with the owner. He said, 'I want to do more online.' And I said, 'I can help you with that.' He referred me to other business owners and soon I had 10 or 15 clients and my first employee. Within three or four years, we grew to a 15 person marketing agency. From there, we eventually dropped all our clients and transitioned to products. And now I travel with a couple of fellow entrepreneurs, building my business in inspiring environments around the world. All because I dropped my phone and didn't settle for just getting a job. It's a good example of how life can take turns that you don't expect. It's part luck but it's happened to me a lot. It's more ... if you go out there and you talk to people and you let them know what you can do, what you're good at, they will know you. And you can build a business on that. Everybody has their own skills. Everybody is a specialist. Everyone is good at something that can help others. You just have to get out there."

No high school education. No job. And you still managed to secure a $15,000 loan? That's just as amazing as your career journey! :)

15k isn’t that much and the bank over here just reviews your business plan. So it’s not that amazing tbh ;)
